Shack Automation with Microham Station Master
Following Requirements were the major issues I wanted to achieve for my 1. Using 1 coax line to switch 3 antenna systems (vertical, tower1, tower2) 2. Using 1 line to switch receiving antenna system (at least 3 beverage) 3. Using band selection for selecting the right antenna 4. Selecting receiving antennas (as a group) and choose single 5. Using only front-end software to configure all antenna switching 6. Using 12 v relays system 7. Controlling power amplifier (Acom 2000) for protection improvement 8. Using a software control center to make SDR Flex5000, DX4WIN, WINTEST, Tmate Station Master from microham was able to cover all main requirements • Supporting a Software Defined Radio as PowerSDR+Flex 5000 (requisite 8) • Configurable16 outputs (requisite 1,2), and programmable pin out (requisite 10) • 12v Output volt selections available (requisite 6) • Band selection features or switching antennas (requisite 3 ) • Specific Receive only antenna support (requisite 2) • USB Device Router Software (requisite 5, 8) that control station master See document "ik2egl Microham Station Master setup " in download section for a more detailed description
